About Walpole Prevention Coalition

Walpole Prevention Coalition was established on January 7, 2013 and is organized through the Walpole Health Department.
The Walpole Prevention Coalition has members from all parts of the community, including residents, employees of Walpole including: Walpole Police Department, Walpole Public Schools, Walpole Recreation Department, Walpole Public Library, Walpole Council on Aging, Walpole Health Department, and Walpole Media, as well as local religious leaders, local volunteers, local substance use and recovery organizations, and more.

We are grateful for all of our coalition members and their dedication to Walpole and substance use prevention and recovery.

Mission Statement
To prevent and reduce alcohol and other substance use among Walpole's adolescent and young adult population through communication, collaboration, resource-sharing, problem-solving, collective action and celebration.

Join Walpole Prevention Coalition
Membership to Walpole Prevention is open to anyone who supports our mission and who lives in Walpole or who works for an organization or agency serving Walpole. Anyone may join Walpole Prevention Coalition during any time of the year, just contact us here or at Walpole Health Department for more information.
The coalition will not discriminate on the basis of age, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, culture, political affiliation, religion, national origin, veteran, marital, or parental status or disability.
